TESTING DATES The Jefferson County Fire Chief’s Association in conjunction with the Jefferson County Fire Instructor’s Association will host testing dates for applicants to be placed on the Jefferson County Fire Employment Eligibility List. Below are the instructions you must follow if you are interested in getting your name on the employment eligibility list. 1. Log on to Jefferson County Fire website www.jeffcofire.com under the Employment tab and download the application. Complete the application and return it to Terri Livers, Jefferson County Suburban Fire 410 South Fifth Street #323, Louisville, KY. 40202, along with the required documents seven (7) days prior to the written test date.2. On December 15 th at 19:00 hrs at Highview Fire District Station One located at 7308 Fegenbush Lane, the Written Test part of the process will be administrated. You must show up no later than 18:45 hours with a government photo ID. The test will start promptly at 19:00 hrs and if you are late you will not be allowed to take the test.3. On December 19 th (CPAT) Candidate Physical Agilities Testing will hold Orientation which is mandatory in order to complete the testing process. Then on January 9th and 30th practice sessions will take place and then on February 6th will be the final test. (Times for CPAT Testing TBA)Appling and testing does not guarantee you an interview or a job. This testing process simply eliminates two steps of the hiring process if the department that is doing the hiring chooses to use the process. We look forward seeing you on December 15th for the written test and then on December 19th for the CPAT Orientation. Good Luck Any questions can be sent to Chief Dave Goldsmith at dgoldsmith@highviewfire.com |
